Sleep Mode operation of the PIC16F676

Hello Sir,

Presently I am working with the PIC16f676 based project. In this I want to use the Sleep mode. I am using the MPASM as programming tool. Give me the basic idea about the sleep mode in this controller.

Sleep mode puts controller into low power stat its same as putting your computer on standby mode. When any external interrupt or any interrupt that is capable of bringing the controller out of sleep mode, MCU is full functional again. Its used for power saving only.
