matlab program with gui

hiii sir,
with the reference of gaurav.k from this site.
i want a matlab program for serial port interfacing. in which matlab get the input from serial port and display output on graphical window(GUI) of matlab. suggest what can i do for this..... any tutorial or documents on this topic to start my project.
