PDP context deactivated error in SIm900

i got an error of PDP DEACT while tcp/ip communication with server

why this error show m nt getting it

reboot your modem and follow the command sequence exactly as mentioned in this topic:

To close connection use AT+CIPSHUT

that issue was with Airtel service. after 2 hrs it was working.

Hv u worked on SIM5215 or sim5218 gprs module.

Now i hv this module, m workin on it.

that module has sd card port for stroing the files using at commands and we can fetch this files and send mail as attachment.

please guide.

I am really not sure about this. Try to look for any application note from SIMCOM regarding this modem. If its possible they might have given it somwhere.

I have application notes on this. but in that they jst given at commands but not all at commands.

and still i m nt cleared for all commands after reading the note

now this modem is 3G , so i need 3G SIM card. now i hv ordered SIM card.

waiting for card to test the modem.

You do not need a special sim for 3G. All you need to do is get 3G plan activated on same sim card
