interacing dc motor car with computer

hey thanx for guding me previously and now i have some more doubts
1) what book shud i read for programming 8051? is it always preferred to use C or assemble language can also b used? what should i learn C or Assembly language?
2) i want to control a remote contorl car through my computer , so how should i approch it ?

for you first question.. i must say.. it depends on you.. if you are good in C you go with it.. and assembly is the base.. so if you are new then surely go for assembly.
for second one.. its really simple.. get a wireless transmitter and receiver module.. connect transmitter to pc and receiver to your controller. read the data send via serial port. act accordingly..
make 4 commands..
u -> move ahead
d -> move back
l -> move left
r -> move right
read the commands and control your motors accordingly. Its simple isn't it?

i think this book is there in the ebook section of my site check it out.. C & 8051 i think not sure..
