audio streaming

hi guys
i wish to stream audio over the network using a PICDEM.net 2 board. I have done the ADC and is able to transmit the data over the UDP but I a stck now. I need to add PCM headers to the data, how do i do that? any help will do. thx

I think you might need to send the mime type first.. I am not sure..
e.g. for html files... http header contains mime type as "text/html" and for wav files mime type is "audio/x-wav". after that the PCM data.. directly.. along with the PCM header of the wav file..
Mime type in html tells the remote application what kind of data is being sent..
