I whant to develop wirless sensor node for GREEN BEE project. instead of connect the sensors through wires i whant to shift them to wirless. i am currentely using cc2500 tranciver ic. but i do not have any idea of using it. can any one help me in programming and interfacing this ic to microcontroller and to the sensors. i will be very gratefull to them.
Thanks in advance
one can also contect to me at my email address

hello Nasir...

Using this IC will make little difficulties for you. did u see its data sheet ??

It has Digital Input and Digital Output so if u wanna interface any data with it it

should be in digital form! for example if u wanna interface temperature sensor with

controller using this module then u need ADC that will change temperature value in digital and provide

to cc2500 then it will transmit this value 2nd module will receive this data and provide

again an Digital value that can be interfaced with controller.

This Module has 7 Registers which you have to program to use it..... and to program

this module you will use SmartRF Studio that can be downloaded from here its free

and which controller you will use with this module..... I will suggest you to use a controller which support SPI Interface then it will be easy to interface it....

Best of luck...

Thanks a lot for ur guidance really really thank you. the data from the sensore will be converted to digital form using A/D converter ok i will discuss another ic too. but the same problem will be there. that ic is also trnsmit and recive in degital form. i have studied tha datasheet. any other solution in ur mind. i have to complete it soon

Adding wireless would probably mean a new project in practise.
Analogue signals would need to be read locally then transmitted, commands to operate pumps
sprayers etc would need to sent back.

In effect you would have lots of Greenbee units working together.
Member septemberglow has posted a question along the same lines.

Perhaps it is time for GreenBeeNet. (GreenBeeHive )

The signal transmission process from the remote control unit to the receiver unit is accomplished by using the HT-12E/H-12D encoder/decoder pair in conjunction with the TWS-434A/RWS-434 transmitter/receiver pair. given in the link

http://people.ece.cornell.edu/land/courses/ece4760/FinalProjects/s2008/cl457_yft2/cl457_yft2/index.html

i need ur guidanceto adopt it for the wirless snesors in our project

thransmitter ckt diagram is
http://people.ece.cornell.edu/land/courses/ece4760/FinalProjects/s2008/cl457_yft2/cl457_yft2/images/photos/tra.bmp

and the reciver circuit diagram is

http://people.ece.cornell.edu/land/courses/ece4760/FinalProjects/s2008/cl457_yft2/cl457_yft2/codes/receiver_unit.c

i need ur valuable comment on and the necessary adoptation required
as for as i know the analog data from the sensor in the form of voltage will be converted to degital for and will be fed into the MCU. from MCU the data will be fed to HT-12D Decoder with proper addressing for different sensors and will be given to TWS-434A RF Transmitter for transmittion. at the reciver it will be recivered by the RWS-434 RF Receiver than decoded and will be further preocessed

hardware is ok encoder and decoder gives better result that is why used in the design
ur thinking right sensors gives analog quantities digitize them and send witlessly along with address of sensor
it is better u use 8 bit encoder and decoder it will create easiness for u

ya as majoka said use 8 bit encoder and decoder it will give u more precise results. And u Got the right theme of using RF with micro controller.....

TWS and RWS and very compact TX and RX i don't know these are available in local market here or not!!! Its better for u to visit market and check the availability of components then discuss with us.... There are many RF Tx, Rx Modules are available in market u can use any of them.....

Try finding RF transmitter kit that we use in Car Security System ..... that can be used for your purpose it has builtin Transmitter and Encoder and available in very low price too

ok thanks for your valuable comments. but where can i simulate it. i whant o simulate it first but protius dosenot have modelsfor the above mentioned IC,s. so which programm will help me to simulate it or i should test it directely on the hardware?
