Hello Rickey,
As you said, i tried compiling the Clock_Mod_1 code with SDCC, but it gives syntax errors:

i think the header file you are using is not ok! not sure. just feel like

Just Login to www.maxim-ic.com
and choose the product and order a sample
and the DS89C450 is really a very fast cpu
and with some extra feature so u have to modify the source to work with it
