What you can do is.. read the ADC after fix intervals.. like 500ms or 200ms etc..
this way.. you don't keep the controller busy in reading just the ADC. After reading the ADC value store them in some variable.
and.. as 7-segment connected on same port needs refresh after some time.. so you just read that variable while refreshing the seven segment..
that will automatically refresh the the value of 7-segment..

you must check the code on hardware.. software wont give you correct answers..

i confuse about the decode table.is it i need to do some condition(value) the the program will check.for example internal ram that store some value in the location..

ok you want to know how to find the decode table
search in the forum.. you will get your answer.. use the search box.
actually i dont have link to the forum post where i explained how to find the decode value..

thanx a lot..now i understand more the working of that..but where i need to put the coding for 7 segment??
Tue Sep 04 2007, 06:27 PM
in your controller.. well first of all write a sample code.. to test the working..
after that put that code into a routine.. so that you just need to pass the value and it will display it automatically.. so you don't have to be tense about anything.. right? all you have to do is write a test program..
after you write it.. show it to me..
