GPRS Communication for the Embedded Applications

Hi Guyz :-)
For one of the current project on the Embedded domain, I want to make use of GPRS Communication rather than this GSM Communication where I need to transmit the Data to Web Server by making use of SIM300 Module. I had already worked with the number of projects based on the GSM. But I don't have any idea about this GPRS Communication. So can anyone help me to go with the GPRS Communication Flow from the scratch. :-)
