just i request u to do one thing
try to blink port a ,port b,portc or any one port so that we get an idea to use the port pins !

please reffer to the datasheet of 8255 for more information on ports and other stuff!

rickey i was going through ur library of i2c and uart,24c16
they r really interesting and i am looking forward to use them but i want apprpriate schematic and help to implement them

regarding 8255 its in the process now soon i will give u its result if u can include i2c and uart in the same schematic it will be great then!

you can do that.. there is nothing to add just two pins any two pins can be used. and.. for I2C communication. you can take a look at the clock project and see how it is connected. and we will try our best to help you out.
