Help in Programming PIC16F84

Hi to all, I'm currently working on a project that is required to use a PIC16F84 as a counter to count the time(in the microsecond range) between two pluses. It also need to compare the counts with a given value and display on a seven segment display. So if anyone can help me i will be so grateful.
